Kawartha Auto Tire operates as a fully registered mobile tire service provider in Ontario, serving Peterborough and surrounding areas.
All services are performed in accordance with Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and applicable Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC) guidelines for tire handling, installation, and disposal.

Service Policy

Mobile Service Area: Our core area includes the City of Peterborough. An additional convenience fee applies for locations beyond city limits (10–25 km radius).

Booking & Availability: Appointments are scheduled based on technician availability. Service times may vary due to weather, road conditions, or volume.

Customer Presence: A responsible adult (18+) must be present at the time of service to confirm vehicle ownership and approve work.

Safety Conditions: For on-site work, the vehicle must be parked on a stable, level surface with enough clearance for safe operation of our mobile equipment.

After-Hours & Emergency Service: Available by request with a standard surcharge. Response time may vary based on demand and road safety conditions.
Pricing & Payments:

Transparent Pricing: Base prices match local shop rates, and all additional fees are disclosed prior to service.

Convenience Fee: Covers mobile setup, travel, and on-site operations. This fee is flexible and may be reduced or waived for promotions or returning customers.

Payment Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and electronic transfers. Full payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged.

Estimates: Quotes are valid for 7 days and may vary if tire size, condition, or scope of work changes.
Warranty & Liability:

Workmanship Guarantee: Kawartha Auto Tire guarantees all installation and balancing workmanship for 30 days from the date of service.

Tire Warranty: Any manufacturer defects or claims must be handled through the tire manufacturer’s warranty policy.

Damage Exclusions: We are not responsible for pre-existing wheel or vehicle damage, corrosion, or failure of parts unrelated to our service.

Road Safety Disclaimer: Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle meets safety standards and legal requirements following service.
Environmental Responsibility:
We are committed to protecting Peterborough’s natural environment.
All used tires are collected, recycled, or disposed of through certified Ontario Tire Stewardship programs.
Tire waste and materials are handled according to Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) regulations.
We continuously explore sustainable products and practices to minimize environmental impact.
